Urban art... any artists here?

Yes .... I do ... for one I have no idea what is considered a good place to paint in Detroit. Let alone going out alone and getting caught in some shit alone. When I say "urban art" I mean graffiti of course .. if there is anyone here that would like to go out and go painting .. becase you LOVE TO! and you love thosse beautiful fill ins as much as i do ... please Im dying i havent painted since I ve been here!!!! I think I've showed you my favortie graffiti in the whole world. Remember that, on Mt. Elliot? It's been there for years. I know a few good places and had worked out some studies for graffiti a few years ago, but never went through with it-you know that i have no time.

I used to be. Painted quite often, though always picky and respectful (well, as respectful as you can be with that) with where I painted.

Never on a home. That isn't art, that's just being a asshole.

Never on a business that was operational.

Never on a school.

Abandoned buildings, warehouses, overpasses and the like in visible areas were what I aimed for.

i really envy people who have this talent - and if i had the money/location, i'd have rows of walls for people to do this on... you get one section, first come-first serve, free of charge, and it stays for a month, then cleaned for the next artist...
