I have more random computers than I know what to do with (along with being broke) but hopefully someone will take it off your hands. Good to see ya btw. =)

Yeah , for every dollar you spend on a laptop you could spend that same dollar and $1.50 worth of desktop. I personally dont need to be on my computer so bad that I have to carry it around with me (unless it was for work) so a desktop and an extra 50% more computer for the same price is fine by me.

But I know space can be a big issue.

Although even for people that don't really travel with their laptops nor need the space, the "look" factor is huge (apple made its bones on this fact, well publicized) and laptops usually win there without even trying.
