Fierce Critter Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 A woman in the area who is on the Freecycle board for my county is having a yard sale tomorrow (Saturday the 2nd). She's selling off her record collection - numbering around 700. I have no idea how much she'll be asking, hopefully around $1.00 each. But so long as she has them organized in some easily searchable manner, I'm willing to look for anything DGN'ers are wanting to buy. Just respond here with a post giving the max per disc you're willing to pay, and an alphabetical list of albums. I will ship them to you media mail, which is generally pretty cheap - your dime. I get boxes free, so no handling or packaging costs will be added, just the actual shipping. NOTE: Please don't ask for anything that's known to be worth a lot on eBay - that is, after all, what I do for a living. If I find, for instance, The Cure In Orange on orange vinyl, that sucker's going up on eBay right off. This isn't limited to new wave, goth, techno, industrial, or related genres. I know she mentioned a lot of classic 70's rock, etc. So just ask for whatever you want. I'll only pick up albums in excellent condition.
Fierce Critter Posted July 1, 2005 Author Posted July 1, 2005 Her asking price: Records 12" $2 --- 10" singles .50 each --- Cassettes .50 each
Fierce Critter Posted July 2, 2005 Author Posted July 2, 2005 Ugh. I can't believe how badly some people take care of their records. For the most part, they're all trashed. And none very interesting. No big loss.
