That's pretty cheap to be honest. I am looking for something that cheap myself. There is this one place, I am going to call them tomorrow I will let you know what they are running price wise.

Holy crap! Is that how expensive insurance is in Michigan? My ass hurts just reading that! I'm in Windsor and I pay $103/month for full coverage.

Ya Michigan is the highest rate of car insurance

Mine is 88 dollars a month, full coverage. Although I have a really good driving record (now), it dropped by like bucks a few years ago. I've been on the same plan for ages. Its gotten cheaper as I've gotten older (and have zero points now).

Its AAA and I remember there was some deal were if you pay it via money deposited in my specific bank it was like 10 bucks cheaper a month (or some such), which is the only reason I have a checking account at DFCU (my "regular" bank is bank of america).

The last time I did any homework on it, the rates were all (roughly) similar, say within a couple hundred a year, its all the different "factors" that jack up the price (or lower it).

Yeah like i was saying there, It seems to be all the zillon factors that push it up and down, I'm not sure what all they factor in, but there is a lot to it. I read an article a long time ago that if they cant verify certain things, they just assume the worst, like say, if your employed or not, but they can't verify it (not sure why that's relevant but I rember them always asking that, and for how long and where, what kind of car yada yada.

That is just an example.

Its always in the details when you go to actually get the quotes, unfortunately as far as I know there is no magic way to get cheap insurance or even know what the "real" price is, without filling out all the details on a quote request thing.

Oddly my bill came Friday and just today (still haven't been to sleep ugh, didnt check the mail) reading through the mail my insurance went up by 20 bucks, for what reason I dunno.
