Anyone else?

I voted for Obama the first time for a variety of reasons but first among them was I was actually voting against anyone who supported the invasion of Iraq. This time around I'm voting for a guy who I know isn't perfect but he's the devil I know.

I am just not voting at all, neither one of them make sense at all and I would feel dirty afterward.

Thats why you should pick a third party. If enough people vote on a third we will finally pull away from this two party crap.

I wish there was a push to get rid of the 2 party system.

Althugh this is isn't the middle east none of the candidates are the kind of evil you have to deal with in other natioins.

Interesting way to put it.

QFT!

in my opinion, anyone who votes for the "lesser of two evils" is a major part of the problem. stand up! convince your friends! make your voice heard!

vote your god-damned conscience! vote for who you want, not who you think "can win". don't be a sucker. the whole premise of voting is predicated on people being true to themselves and their beliefs.

you vote for "a winner", you're a sheeple, and you disgust me! =P

(i'm serious though - vote your fucking conscious or nothing will ever, *EVAR* change!!!)

Hits nail on head. Exactly. You don't just vote to do it, if you don't agree, you can't just settle.

I like Ron Paul. Though I hope on any chance he was elected, his stance on abortion would be left up to the state (since he once supported a federal pro-life bill). There is the argument against Ron Paul concerning the private market, but it just needs pressure on it to keep it from being antagonistic.

You could elect an extremely ethical, intelligent, and motivated person, and with the way America uses its military and its "military over diplomacy" foreign policy, on top of which on a credit-based economy, he or she would be in over their head.

the other big problem is that people just research (if they even bother to do that) the presidential candidates. any idea why the president can't get shit done? yeah, congress(wo)men and senators. you want change? vote the "career" bums out of office! give the president people he can actually work with...

Exactly. If we keep voting for the Same people, Every time, then Nothing will change for the Better. All Incumbants should be voted Out.

+1. That would be the best option. I would love to see our government reform entirely.

Exactly the right idea.

I'd vote third party for a senator or house representative in a heartbeat. I wouldn't vote for a third party president though for one simple reason, they would never get shit done. I can just picture both parties stonewalling them just as a matter of principal.

Just not Obama...please not him...

The one thing that really gets me is his treatment of the military. The cuts are in the wrong places and he doesn't care...soldeirs get shit on while civilian workers and high ranking officials make bank. Also, he didn't have shit to do with the mission to get Osama yet he played it up like he was god. He used the wars and that operation for political gain and really fucked up OPSEC. He tossed around information on live TV like crazy and it was information that can get soldiers killed. He uses us like a damn dog and pony show WAY TOO MUCH.

I won't even get into his campaigns lawsuit against military voting rights...Oh I am SO SORRY that I am sometimes doing a job in another country that prevents me from physically being at a voting booth. And the times we had to "wait" for our pay because Washington couldn't act...we have families to take care of.

I don't care what else he has done...he pissed on the military and we don't like getting pissed on. Don't like military operations and secrects? Fine...but fight it in a way that doesn't risk our lives. I HATE changing things for operations because someone couldn't shut their damn trap! I am about to leave for 9 months and I pray that I don't have a loose lipped suit running his stupid mouth over live TV while watching operational information just float around! I really do love NOT being killed because people know my frequencies and my location...there is a reason I can't even tell my mother where I will be, when I will be there, or even how many fucking rocks are around me...we already had that french poodle from Wikileaks try to kill us so please try not to help him with that.

I'm thinking I'm going to be moving to AZ, soon! Can't wait! I friggin' love it here! The heat doesn't bother me at all and the best part? NO SNOW!!! (S.N.O.W. - Shit  No One Wants)   Been staying in Bullhead City where the kids and grandkids live. Next, we're going to the wife's cousin's which is a ways North of Kingman, in the middle of nowhere, where we actually plan to move.   I really like Bullhead. It's a nice little town. Not overcrowded like Colorado Springs has become, at all. Very light traffic, reasonable prices on everything, low taxes, etc. The river offers a lot to do, with a lot of beaches and campgrounds all around it.   But yeah even though we've been over 110º-115º F just about every day,  I can handle it!  What I can't handle anymore, is snow and being cold. Just tired of it. Give me the desert over a blizzard any day!

Nope, we wasn't doing anything. I didn't want to go by myself.  I ended up doing karaoke here. It would of been a perfect day to go, though.
