Okay, so sometime last year our house went into foreclosure. We are still living in the house as the Redemption time is not up yet. Just as of a few days ago our mortgage company contacted my husband. They told him it was their fault that our house was foreclosed on and they are now offering us a loan modification. I am like what the crap! They already forclosed. My husband talk to a lawyer and he thinks that since the house did not sell at auction and the mortgage company is not wanting to be stuck with the house. So we are going to see what kind of modification they are willing to offer us. But i'm not getting any hopes up just yet.

We filled out the required paper work and sent it off to the mortgage company. They sent us a letter saying they got the paper work and we have been assign a person to help us through the loan modification process and that a decision would be made in about 30 days. Saturday I went to pick up the mail and received an evection summons with a court date! We are fighting this! This has to be so wrong on so many levels! We are fighting!

What happened to the Obama anti-foreclosure program? I know several people who actually used this and succeeded in reversing the entire process. It makes foreclosure by the banks and mortgage companies illegal.

Well, they dismissed the case. They sure do like screwing with people. Though I am not sure what this means.

If I understand your case correctly, the dismissal is for the eviction notice. You should be able to proceed with the house payment arrangements. Congratulations and Good Luck  *sending good vibes your way*
