I have a thing for natural disasters. I’ve been like this since I was in elementary school. I have seen some shit. When hurricane Agnes hit Maryland and Pennsylvania in 1972, I was there to see all the flooding. As I’ve gotten older, I have driven through hell, flooding, and tornadoes. Jeff and I drove through a storm cell in 2019 on memorial day as a tornado was dropping from the sky to our left.

So, on this fine Sunday morning, I am watching the top 10 tsunami disasters are and will probably watch more lol

There's something on youtube that has REALLY epic disasters (like world ending). Supervolcanoes, sucked into a black hole, etc... Great to listen to it works.

Some of them are pretty ridiculous though

Oh, yeah, some of them are absolutely ludicrous. But what blows my mind is seeing all of these people as a raging flash flood is going by and they’re stepping out into it. Like, fuck around find out is not my favorite game. It’s one thing to be fascinated with it, it’s entirely different to pretend like it’s nothing and you just go walk into it.

The Jack Hanna Channel on ROKU

But fell down the rabbit hole on YouTube with the "48 Hours Full Episode" listing.

I just saw all the things, all spread out, at the same time and it was pretty good.

I also did the first episode of Strange New Worlds finally.  I liked it but my friend was uninterested.

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
