 lol.   Not sure I ever said that before.   Seems like a thing people would like though.

 

I just sort of view it as the beginning of the worst allergies of the year, and the start of the limiting of my already limited clothing choices.  hah.   Also its too damn bright out for too long.    *grumpy cat picture here*

 

 

 

 

I kinda like the graphic, check it.  The earth is FARTHER away at any other time during summer than during winter.  We would assume closer = warmer , farther away - hotter. 

The basic reason is the earths tilt.  The earth is tilted (spins on is own axis) toward the sun in summer its tilted away in winter.

 

Its a damn good thing its like that too winters would be like, ice ages and summers would be like...  well I don't think its been that hot since before humans existed.
