Now She Is Harping On My Death

If harping on my life was not enough for my mother in law, now she is harping on me about how I need to be saving money for my funeral. Telling me how much a funeral will cost and the price of a headstone. When I told her I did not care about such things. She said to me "well who is going to pay for it?" To which I said it will not be my problem because I will be dead. In all honesty I really do not care what is done to me after I die. I believe that my body is only a shall for my soul. Which will be with my God when I am gone from this world. So I am not going to worry about how to pay for my funeral and I see this as yet one more thing my mother in law can find to harp on me about.

And that's why they say, "Funerals are for the living." With the current state of things here at the HomeHouse, I'm truly beginning to understand this.
