A Conversation With My Mother In Law About Mowing The Lawn

My mother in law is stressing about getting her lawn mowed. I have been telling her I can do it. I can mow with a push mower no problem. Here is how the conversation went.

Mother in law: I can't mow with the push mower it is too hard for me to push.

Me: I can mow with it. I can mow with a push mower .

Mother in law: Well your not going to be here forever.

Me: Well I am here now and I can help mow.

Mother in law: Yeah and I am going to start charging you rent and back rent too!

I am trying to help her. (sigh) And by the way, I am not living here free and clear I do pay for the food. I want to help. I feel bad that I am here. So I want to help. But this is how the conversation goes when I say I can help.
