Marriage sucks

So after over a yr of marriage nth wife is openly considering taking our children and going back to her ex husband. Makes me feel used and like I wasted two years of my life. I have up school, friends, jobs, a paid for car, free lodging and food...all because I wanted a family.

 

Now she's all I have...and debt

part of me knows I'd be better off without her...but I can't leave...i do love her

Sick thing is she said she was leaving the 11th...shes still here. So I know shes doing it to feel powerful...but i love her and we have a son...its all just screwed up. I know I'd be happier, more successful, and able to focus on improving my life and the life of my son...but its hard to end a marriage with someone you love...it would be easier if she would leave, cheat, or do something bad lol

ya, it just sucks. I love my sstepkids and my son, I want them to have a normal life and family, but I can't live feeling useless

Are you actually trying to hold on to something like that? NO! If she wants to take her ass back to her ex, who it clearly didn't work out the first time (an X is an X for a reason) let her figure that out though on her own, let her go running back... Without your baby, though. I, prior to reading this was going to suggest an experiment: buy her roses or something be romantic and see, just observe her reaction.. See if she's cold and indifferent, if she's not.. There is a start there to maybe some real talk and communication. I mean her telling you she wants to go back may be her little test on you, she wants to get a reaction. Relationships are a fucking dance and sometimes the music is really bad. It sounds like she is testing you.

However, after reading this I'm going to myself and aloud, um if she openly wants to go back to him, I'm assuming shes a girl who wants the boy with the biggest bank account? Let her, you are racking your brain over this, what is she doing to try to make it work?
