Troy Spiral (13) Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 Cool. Really itching for VR to become widespread. I think this year will be the start, and next year it will be fairly ubiquitous.

I think this year will be the start, and next year it will be fairly ubiquitous. In the beginning, at least, I think Sony VR will dominate the market. I think it will take a PS4, so I'm estimating altogether it will be around $600 - $700, which is kind of steep for the average person. But I think this stuff will eventually replace monitors and computers for a lot of people, unless a better VR comes out for PC; Oculus is just too pricey. Even though I wouldn't mind something like Google Glass or Hololens, so I can still interact with the world while browsing the internet, and my pets don't think I've had my head swallowed by a machine..
