So many people were noticeably missed and so many left relatively early that it felt like a skeleton crew.

But, what's the card for? How it works? 

The cards are like "memories of the event" or "keepsake items" for people that went to the "event".   They are free,  but marblez had an interesting idea about having some available for  people that could not make it to the event for some sort of donation.
