Weddings at People's Houses

Saturday evening (7/9), the hubby and I went to a wedding that was held at a house in Mt. Clemens. The ceremony started at 5pm, and we got there around 4:45. They had the booze out already, so we both got drinks. By the time the ceremony was over, we both had a good buzz going. About 2 hours later, the hubby throws up (in the bathroom), and passes out on their living room couch. I reportedly passed out on the living room couch around 11pm (this is really early for me). I woke up at one point, freaking out because I thought there was something wrong with my eyes, then realized I still had my contact lenses in. I took them out, then passed out again. I woke up around 5 or 5:30 in the morning with the hubby staring at me, telling me we need to go home. We leave, and he lays his seat back and goes to sleep. Moral of the story: If you invite us to a wedding at your house, we will drink too much and pass out on your furniture. We can behave in public, just not in other people's homes. :blushing :blink

Mephisto's is a converted house pretty much, and it has couches. It would be interesting to see what you'd do there :p

If I ever get my dream place there will be a room completely padded with matresses and the like just for this type of thing.

Actually I was at Mephisto's last week, but I behaved....I did notice all the couches, though hehe. There are no comfortable places to pass out at in CC :blink
