I have not done anything in particular. I have just been making some better choices in what I eat and at times even missing meals. Not on purpose, just not thinking about eating until it is too late in the day to justify the calories.

Next week i start Powerhouse gym in Canton 3 times a week. Wish me luck!

good luck! I'm joing the YMCA they just built in GR with some friends. *crossing fingers* Now I'll just have to GO!

If you focus on reducing the size of meals for a while, it will eventually take less food to make you feel full.

Well, I say that from personal experience. That's not based on any physiology I've learned yet.

Which one are you going to Nienna? We are getting memberships this month.

A friend of mine has reduced her intake of fat to about 25 grams per day and she lives off of carbs and other really healthy foods. She dropped like 75 pounds in a couple of months and looks fabulous. It's a tough diet but it keeps her looking great.

Good luck and Congrats!

WE are going to the one on the east side , on casscade or some where near there. Do try and get some type of exercise. Talk to your DR. I knew a girl that got some sort of voucher from her Dr to go and she got either a discount or she was able to go for free. It's worth an ask and 30 minutes 3 days a weeks WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬
      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
