Guest Game of Chance Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Mos Def - Umi Says now... Pigface - Empathy
Guest Game of Chance Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 The Cure - Fire In Cairo there's a song we should look at covering dude...
Paper Hearts Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I love Fire in Cairo. Any song on that album is cool. In fact, any Cure song not on the newest album is cool.
Paper Hearts Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Yeah. That's cool. What do you feel about a Libertines cover? If you haven't heard them, download some. Can't Stand Me Now or Last Post On The Bugle are good places to start...
Paper Hearts Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Great. and this goes for Brenda too, because I saw she posted some Clash songs. Mick Jones produced the Album. It's one of the greatest albums ever...it's their last album though. they kicked out the leader (Pete Doherty, the sometimes boyfriend of super model Kate Moss) because he's a violent crack and junk addict. He broke into one of his band members houses and stole from him. Mick jones called them the first rock band in a long time to behave like a proper rock band should because of him. The band said he could come back if he cleaned up, but it's been about a year and he's still not clean. After they kicked him out his agent found him another band called Baby Shambles. Right away they put a couple songs in the UK charts. Pete's just got an emense amount of talent... for whatever reason though, Baby Shambles and Libertines are all but ignored here in the states.
Paper Hearts Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 Yeah, just trust me on the Libertines. You need that album.
Brenda Starrr Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 I'll have to look for it. I'm not sure who here carries it....
