LuluVox Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 (edited) I like it. I do. I've actually been listening to it a lot. But there are some songs on there that hurt my soul, and that and You Are the Quarry are the only two of his albums that have songs that hurt my soul (and I mean in a not-good way). That's all I'm sayin'! Other than those few songs, they're both good albums, and can definitely hold their own up against albums of his contemporaries. Compared to other Morrissey albums, though...VAUXHALL AND I. Also: Beethoven Was Deaf is exempt from comparison, says me, since it's a live album. And Southpaw Grammar is one of my big loves. Paper Hearts Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 (edited) Vauxhall and I, I put at #2, after Viva Hate. They're all good albums to me. 3. Bona Drag 4.Your Arsenal 5.Kill Uncle 6. Maladjusted 7. tie between Southpaw Grammar and You Are The Quarry 9.Beethoven Was Deaf Edit: Now that I think of it, I might even put Maladjusted at a tie with Kill Uncle.
