Fierce Critter Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 For the most part, Jon and I don't buy DVD's/VHS tapes of movies. There's precious little out there we'd care to sit through more than once. We will buy movies at yard sales if it's cheaper than renting. But we have some exceptions. My list follows - what are YOUR picks for movies/etc. that you'd like enough to buy and rewatch - and do you actually re-watch them? Mine include: Movies: Little Big Man The Crow Edward Scissorhands Swashbuckler My Chauffer Walt Disney's Robin Hood Braveheart - yard sale purchase only, wouldn't pay full price. Titanic - Yard Sale purchase only, wouldn't pay full price. TV: The Monkees Xena Nestor the long eared Christmas donkey (kudos if you know it) Other: The Cure - Staring at the Sea The Cure - whatever came after Staring at the Sea Siouxsie & the Banshess - Singles video collection R.E.M. - early video collection Split Enz - video collection Pretenders - video collection Cheap Trick - video collection Cats - London stage performance We'll probably also eventually buy a copy of Napoleon Dynamite.

sithzanshen Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 im on pins and needles for sin city. thats must have. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm a huge fan of both Miller and Rodriguez. They confirmed that a "collectors edition" will be released later. This will have scenes edited out for time constraints. Not to mention tons of other stuff. Kinda like what del Toro did for "Hellboy". So, if you're poor (like me) try to resist the urge to buy this version. As for the topic: I am a huge film junkie. I own more than I realy should. I can't help it. I'm addicted.
