The gene was listed in small print and I had to point it out to my psych doctor and she had to call the testing site for them to explain it and I started researching and that's when I really found out about that exactly it means because I couldn't afford to see a geneticist, unfortunately. ~~~~~ I'm definitely going to mention it to her. She also does her own research regarding medical diagnosis and prescriptions. kat 1
kat (1) Posted April 24 Posted April 24 I keep looking for MSW level jobs now that I'm 2 weeks from graduating and the pickins' are slim here. California, too expensive but North Carolina, Texas and Massachusetts look good.
kat (1) Posted April 24 Posted April 24 (edited) My intern supervisor actually found a job they recently posted at the organization I'm at and she has recommended I apply so it made me feel great that she said that. It would be just like her position but at another location. I just don't know if I want to be a supervisor. I did apply though. Edited April 24 by kat TronRP 1

TronRP Posted April 28 Author Posted April 28 Why do I feel the pull to care so much about things that should not normally involve me.

I'd probably cry everytime someone had to be disciplined. I'd end up approving everyone's time off request and working all by myself lol. I do have an interview at a drug rehab, though. I hate interviews, I freeze and take forever to get to the point lol. I kinda want to go to another state and just try something new, though but my kids..maybe they would visit more, though 🤔 😅 they're busy doing adult stuff and I'm still treating them like they're little. It drives them crazy. Lol I think I drive them crazy. Lol Edited May 1 by kat

Lol ~~~~~ Whenever I had an interview, I would be honest with the interviewer and actually say stuff like, "I talk a lot when I'm nervous", or I would ask if it was ok to speak candid during the interview or if I needed to stay professional. Then I would wait to see what direction the interaction would go in. kat 1

TronRP Posted May 14 Author Posted May 14 I have so many things that need to be handled that I almost don't know where to start.
kat (1) Posted May 15 Posted May 15 (edited) Okay I am having a dilemma..I was offered the substance abuse job and it pays almost 30 an hour to start but than I got a call from two other jobs at the same organization and they both want to interview me tomorrow, however they are back by where I used to live which is almost an hour away and pay a few dollars less, however I think I'd like to do one of them positions more..but the substance abuse job the money is good. I can't miss the interview but I think I'm going to stick with what I already accepted. Maybe I mean unless they'll match the pay. Idk...I'm debating I guess we shall see where the interview goes tomorrow. Anyway I'm terrified and excited. Edited May 15 by kat TronRP 1

It may pay better, but if you're going to be miserable the entire time, it's not worth the few extra dollars. kat 1

The substance abuse job something happened there HR person must have quit or got fired so they pulled all the positions, reposted a few none that was what I was offered than tried to offer me a weekend only job or one that was all the way in Plymouth. I said no thank you..they didn't keep me posted and I had to email three times like um, hello before they actually told me there was a new HR person. That showed me all I needed to know about them. kat (1) Posted May 29 Posted May 29 (edited) All I've been doing is interviews this week, had the 2nd interview for the one that's by my old neighborhood and they're doing an offer letter Monday (supposedly). The other two jobs are clinical jobs, which is what I want but the interview today in Warren showed me that maybe it wasn't for me, just weird vibes. I have two more Monday and Tuesday next week, but I'm also getting an offer but the Tuesday interview is a really good organization so I'm very conflicted. Interviewing is a full time job. I really feel good vibes about the one by my old neighborhood but I'd have to move and my bf doesn't want that and I can't expect him to move back because he works out here. Grrr. This is hard. My relationship feels like it's at a crossroads right now. I don't want to blow my entire life up for a job when I have other options and it's too hard to pay rent in two different places, shit, I'm used to this now and we can both kinda afford life with us living together.Shit this is hard.
