The other two jobs are clinical jobs, which is what I want but the interview today in Warren showed me that maybe it wasn't for me, just weird vibes. I have two more Monday and Tuesday next week, but I'm also getting an offer but the Tuesday interview is a really good organization so I'm very conflicted. Interviewing is a full time job. I really feel good vibes about the one by my old neighborhood but I'd have to move and my bf doesn't want that and I can't expect him to move back because he works out here. Grrr. This is hard. My relationship feels like it's at a crossroads right now. I don't want to blow my entire life up for a job when I have other options and it's too hard to pay rent in two different places, shit, I'm used to this now and we can both kinda afford life with us living together.Shit this is hard. ~~~~~ Stay positive. Things will work out. kat 1
kat (1) Posted June 6 Posted June 6 (edited) Happy! The behavioral health hospital offered me a job for almost double what I've made with my bachelor's in the past,. I told her before I accepted that I vape and used nicotine patches and she said that's not a problem. They don't even test for thc which I don't use but I was so happy when I found out about the nicotine. Now just pending background check. Edited June 6 by kat TronRP 1

TronRP Posted June 10 Author Posted June 10 Sometimes sleep can be a scary thing. I passed out so hard at 4:54pm today. Yesterday wiped me out with rentals, appointments and helping a lost dog get back home. Fortunately, I found him on Facebook and contacted the owners and he was picked up before nightfall. But I think I totally overdid it and paid for it today in the middle of handling business. Thankfully it was some work at home stuff. I definitely do not like being that kind of tired. It's like the World could end and I'd wake up afterwards trying to find out what happened. Soulrev 1

Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...

TronRP Posted Monday at 09:14 PM Author Posted Monday at 09:14 PM Wow, we had a brief power outage on Friday morning and I just now had time to boot my computer back up. It has been a crazy time, but I did get my vehicle back Friday afternoon and new tires put on it Saturday morning. After 2 years, finally got the AC repaired and the frame rewelded from last year's "repare". These guys at Gratiot Auto Center: Chris P., Sevo and Damon...Lifesavers!!! They used to be called Roseville Auto, but this is a new group because I didn't recognize anyone and they didn't have any records of working on my previous vehicle. Also, there seems to be 2 shifts of workers because I didn't know anyone there today when I went to have the maintenance light turned off from the service that was completed Saturday. It was literally like night and day. Chris P. was laid back and handled things with a steady flow, Minnesota Fats style. The guy today was rushed and hectic like an extra from Everybody Loves Raymond.

With as hot as it has been, that sounds like it would have been a great idea. Or did it interfere with something? kat 1

Soulrev Posted Wednesday at 08:02 PM Posted Wednesday at 08:02 PM I'm thinking I'm going to be moving to AZ, soon! Can't wait! I friggin' love it here! The heat doesn't bother me at all and the best part? NO SNOW!!! (S.N.O.W. - Shit No One Wants) Been staying in Bullhead City where the kids and grandkids live. Next, we're going to the wife's cousin's which is a ways North of Kingman, in the middle of nowhere, where we actually plan to move. I really like Bullhead. It's a nice little town. Not overcrowded like Colorado Springs has become, at all. Very light traffic, reasonable prices on everything, low taxes, etc. The river offers a lot to do, with a lot of beaches and campgrounds all around it. But yeah even though we've been over 110º-115º F just about every day, I can handle it! What I can't handle anymore, is snow and being cold. Just tired of it. Give me the desert over a blizzard any day! kat 1

Mostly, we're not sure if we're going to keep it and Snowbird to AZ in the Winter and come back to CO for the heat of the summer, but eventually I think we will live in AZ full time. For now the property in CO is always going up in value so the longer we hold onto it, the more it'll be worth, if we ever choose to sell. For now we have the option to stay at her cousin's and an option to buy a chunk of the 250 acres they bought. Our ranch in CO also needs a new well - a huge investment - so we're trying to decide if we want to fix the well at a cost of 50-100k, or just buy more land from her cousin. Either way will be good, though! Pretty much can't go wrong buying land, these days. Well, depending on the area of course, but out here, land just keeps going up in price, never down , so there's that.. Also it will take years to move our ranch, if we choose to move it all. I figure at least 3 or 4 of the biggest Penske truck loads, and that's conservative and if we broke everything down into pieces and packed the trucks like Tetris 🤣 TronRP 1
