Back in the day, we used to call it a before and after picture.

You took a picture before you started, then one when you reached your goal.

Generally, they were full body shots.

You could just take the picture for your own personal collection.  Our mother used to do it as a motivation method.  It worked...lol.

Wow.  I really cut that one close.  I just made it in and logged the boy's attendance with 15 minutes to spare.

I find it sad that when I speak to a certain caliber of individuals, I am practically told to dumb it down a bit because "In 2021, nobody says...anymore".

I've absolutely had it! Now I'm itching and covered in hives and it's getting worse and spreading all over. My regular doctor is at home working with covid so I had to do a phone appointment and he prescribed steroids and some strong ass antihistamine because benadryl is not working and this barely is. He thinks it's my IUD. I'm going to try to have ER remove it but if it's a 12 hour wait I'll remove it myself!

Usually we treat hives with slowly drinking several cups of water to flush the system, then add a bit of salt to about 8 to 12 oz of water and sip on that.

 

I have no idea what to do about a IUD...😬

I just seen a nurse in the ER triage, the hospital is crazy.  There's a lady out here vomiting everywhere,  it's very sad. People in hospital gowns, lots of elderly,  this poor lady is going to die! I can't believe she's not being admitted stat. I'm ready to cry. I apologized to the nurse for coming after telling him what I think was wrong and he whispered to me that he took his wife's IUD out at home.  He said she was like get this out of me and he did. I was like if I had a husband or something I'd try lol and than we laughed briefly but I was secretly sad.

The roads are pretty bad.  We have a couple of inches of snow and ice here.  There is even a salt truck waiting on the street.

 

Some hives look like a variant of small pox, so hopefully not too many people know about that pandemic outbreak.  They might think it's making a comeback like some cases of tuberculosis.

 

Stay safe in whatever you decide to do tonight.

They're sending me home.  They said they can't take it out because they're not convinced that that is what is wrong. As long as my throat isn't swollen shut and I can breathe they don't think I need anything. I'm pissed.

As long as you're breathing, you were fine in their eyes. It's ABC, Airway, Breathing, Circulation.

It sucks that you had to go for that.
