Feels like I'm getting back on track, slowly but surely.

I did add a couple before pics and  after in my gallery.  You will laugh at the one that I put of my brother and me (it's one of my before pics) but he's all done up in his Detroit Lions paint. Not that I'm a football person but he definitely had me cackling.

~~~~~
And yes, his picture had me cracking up as well...:rofl:
Feeling happy to report that my neighbor and her cat are now back together.  I build her fur baby an indoor Cat Run and now the cat and her 3 kittens have been moved in.  I told my neighbor to make sure the little ones stay with their mother for at least 3 days in their new environment before she starts letting people handle and take the babies away.
I wish she would keep at least one of the 3 kittens, but apparently they are all already spoken for.
Feels like I've been so busy I can't see straight.  But at least I'm getting things done.  Not as fast as I would like to, but still on track.
I feel relaxed; I'm sitting in my office, typing this up, with one of my cats on my lap.
Feeling a bit accomplished.  Finally got the inside portion of the gasline run.  I'll be working on the outside portion after Trene's appointment run.
Feeling good so far. My surgery was last week. I graduated from a walker to a cane. My knee is pretty stiff but that’s normal after this surgery. The physical therapist says I’m doing great.
Like I just got home from work. It’s been a super busy week at work and I can’t wait to catch up on sleep.
Im feeling hungry, might do dinner soon.
So exhausted.  Such a busy day.
Conflicted, moreso than usual.
Like I have nothing I can credibly complain about, in light of  some unfortunate information, that I was  briefed on earlier tonight.
I am 6 weeks post op from my knee surgery. Feeling good but recovery has been tough. It’s not pain. I really have minimal pain at this point. It’s the physical therapy. I think I’m just being hard on myself but I am making progress.
Lately every inconvenience leads me to asking myself why I can't just die.... And there are A LOT of them.
Sometimes I think like that, and then I remember that it'll get here eventually and there's no need to rush things.
Maybe if I had chronic pain (I mean more than emotionally.) There are times though when I have a great night and forget that's there though.  Also lots of friends would be sad if I wasn't, and my goal is to outlive as many of them as I can so they don't need to feel sad (and my enemies so they don't get the satisfaction of living in a world without me in it.  Spite is a great motivator.)
My expectations for recovery don’t meet reality.
Like I’m going to put my phone down and go to
sleep.
I was so sick yesterday that I literally had to drop everything, stop and take care of myself.  I'm feeling much better now.
:biggrin:
So many references went off in my head with that last statement...🤣
Feels like I have a lot going on, but if I can just stay focused, I should be able to get to everything that's in the works.
Stiff, but moving.
Happy to be feeling warm and cozy. 😊
Too much going on right now to get any real sleep.  The new administration just kicked me in the … everywhere... and I need to move on multiple contingency plans asap.
Feels like someone ripped my heart out, but I'm not going to cry.
Just have to remember you can't help everyone.  Especially those who are looking for some reason to attack you for the help you've already given.
      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.
      ~~~~~ Definitely wishing you luck.  Do enjoy yourselves.   But I have to admit, the first thing that came to mind was does roadside assistance reach the desert? 😬

      ~~~~~ Yeah, it's like something happened to my metabolism this past Winter and when I came out of hibernation, that AARP Join Request started looking like something to check into.
      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
