Sitting outside Carter's (where thing 2 is shopping for the nephew and niece) at Fairlane Green after going to the hospital where the father's truck failed to start, after getting a new starter and working all day yesterday. With some help from others, managed to push it down and out of the parking deck for the tow truck.

 

And wanting to go home, eat, and chill for a while.

Editing a ticket for an event into a permission slip for "Inside the Industry: Annual STEAMM Student Event" hosted by Microsoft Corporation Great Lakes Division.  Apparently someone at Microsoft forgot to upload the actual permission slip to Google Docs.  That's hilarious when a Tech center messes up with tech. 😂

Getting over a moment of sarcasm.  It's like just because I told the boy to handle a specific task as a very specific time, he has done everything in his power to do it at every time except the one I specified.  So today I just HAD to have fun at his expense.

      About to head up to Roseville to return this rental and pick up my truck from the auto shop.  It is supposedly sporting a newly fabricated frame rail...I don't think they are referred to as "chassis" anymore as I see the confusion in shop owner's eyes when they ask me if I'm looking for "body work?".   But I do find it interesting that I told the owner that I worked direct with OEM parts and yet he still wrote me up an invoice with overpriced OEM parts from companies I used to host at the place I used to work for.  With that said, I'm expecting a stellar job for the amount I paid.   ...else, there will be some talk negotiations.

      This 👆 definitely goes with what I said in my other post - getting old sucks. Seems like *everything* takes longer and takes more energy out of me than it used to. Really need to work on my diet and exercise, I've found the older I get, the more important those things have really become...
