Trene4000 Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 In the aftermath of the fire, the interior of Notre-Dame was a scene of debris.CreditPool photo by Christophe Petit Tesson _____________________________________________________ By The New York Times April 16, 2019 With the flames extinguished, the smoke clear and a new sun risen over Paris, the French got a heartening confirmation on Tuesday: The Cathedral of Notre-Dame still stands. It is scorched, battered and missing its spire and much of its roof, but the 800-year-old Gothic masterwork that symbolized both a place and a culture is a monument to be repaired, not mourned. Indeed, even as firefighters scoured the ashes and debris for any lingering embers, and investigators worked to determine the cause of the blaze, the French authorities were putting in motion an international fund-raising drive to reconstruct the landmark. TronRP Posted April 17, 2019 Posted April 17, 2019 Thank you for this...my heart hurt looking at the photo of it burning. The only information I had was that it took 16 hours to extinguish.
TronRP Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 I thought this was a video explaining the aftermath of Notre Dame burning, I was incorrect. As I am not fluent in conspiracy theory, can someone please explain to me how this guy made the connection between the attack on French churches amid talks of changes that were to be made due to the Yellow Vest Movement to the President of France being a victim of "documented cases" of pedophilia? ~~~~~ Fire At Notre Dame Follows Wave Of Church ATTACKS - Will They Blame The Yellow Vest Movement? TronRP Posted April 20, 2019 Posted April 20, 2019 Inside Notre-Dame Cathedral after the fire "CBC News Published on Apr 16, 2019 Hundreds of firefighters were able to save Notre-Dame Cathedral from complete collapse, but there is uncertainty over just how much irreplaceable history and culture went up in flames during Monday's devastating fire."
