Zoom is a horrible app with privacy and security holes that hackers are exploiting.

Those are just the first three links off of DuckDuckGo.com.  I hate it because it's a closed source app (then again so is Discord, but it's had way fewer issues and the corporate culture seems much better to me.)

https://meet.jit.si works just as easy from what I can tell, and it's FOSS so you can inspect the code and even set up your own server from what I hear with the code from https://github.com/jitsi

But that's just one of many better options.

Thank you for this information.  I was told to use Zoom the other day, but I am weary about any type of apps like that.  I am definitely ignorant when it comes to this.

Well at least you get to talk to them I suppose.  Google isn't much better though.
