I love my little Psychokitty, but she just literally just ran off with my gothy red tree lights around her neck! She was playing under the tree, and took off running. What can I do to keep her out?

You can try a product called BitterApple. Its suppose to keep animals from going on things you don't want them on or around... I've had hit and miss success with it... Worked on previous cats, but not on my current lovely child...

Last Christmas, our first with BOTH cats & a Christmas Tree, we only had 4 cats.

The only way we were able to keep them out was to have a squirt gun on hand. Still, they managed to pull several bulbs off and break them.

I honestly don't think there IS a way to keep them out without standing guard. :dizzy:

HA!

i have a whippet and a hyperactive border collie and yet they hardly ever dash for the tree (spike the border collie has slid into it once or twice after running from one endo of house to other without thought as how to turn or stop though)

Yep.. There is nothing you can do. They are drawn like moths to flame.. They will rip presents to shreads too. Cats love Presantmas.

Racha likes to bite the lights. Thank god they're on individual currents. (not that I have a tree.... I hate the holidays!)

My kitties leave the tree alone....they like to lay under it.....one year i was taking the tree down and there was a spot about 2 rows up that was all matted down like a nest that my fat cat was laying in!

duct tape!?

I considered duct tape. Then I realized that it hurts really bad when it's removed. I only realized this when I covered my nipples with it while wearing a fishnet top at a party.

see, wrong use - that's what electrical tape is for!!

If it'll make me sound less stupid, they were small strips.

When i do my next shoot, I'm going to make sure that part of the outfit is small strips (of tape) just for you.
