i appreciate all the honesty

really as a scientist it's just one more tool. often it helps me to understand people in a different light.

some people are easier to relate to there sign others are more difficult and need more work or i don't have an appropriate knowledge of that person.

in my experience it's 80% of the time accurate.

the way you react when asked how you feel about it is not important but in some casses is more relavent then there sign as it alots tword your line of thinking witch 80% of the time is relative to others who share your sign.

i just noticed over the years how usefull the signs are to help deal with different personality's. it's not that the stars dictate or control you. Just that other people with the same sign or birthday's seem to really be similiar in quality

there are other ways to find out other things about people's ????? ways :fear

My sign is Taurus the bull....whatever that means. I don't believe in astrology or zodiac signs but I don't rule out the possiblity that there is something to them. Maybe it was some form of medieval psych profiling.

Often people who believe in this sort of thing have pre-judgments built up in thier minds based off astrological books and what those particular authors have written. Not everyone fits these molds even though some people may have an "astrological" trait or two.....maybe even three. Psychologists and sociologists do similiar kinds of profiling all the time, the main difference is that they base thier findings off current scientific data instead of positions of stars that are not even in the same postition that they were when astrology was concieved. Astrology is ancient science that has very little accuracy to predict human behavior....perhaps it was accurate at one time in the past...but today its nothing more than entertainment.

:blink lots of scorps! i'm no exception, i guess. however, being in a boat with that much water around you will eventually make you want to dive in, and see just how far down the bottom is, only to later on realize that you can't hold your breath for much longer, and the harder you strive to reach the surface, the less your chances are of actually getting a breath of fresh air. being a scorp has that kind of advantage of making people want to know more, only to find out that their in over their heads. :grin
