We are lucky enough to have an actual TigerDirect store in Raleigh.

We went there at Christmastime, intending to get a custom-built one they advertised. But we ended up coming home with a refurbished e-machine model that had tons of bells & whistles, as well as XP Home. Ordinarily, we wouldn't touch an e-machine, but for $409.00 plus tax, we couldn't pass it up.

You can get an even better model than we've got for as good a price already. They get in refurbished ones all the time. If you want, I can type out the specs on the one we've got. But one thing it does have - a DVD/CDRW combo drive.

Their custom jobs are great. And the prices are incredible. I believe they ship free for certain prices.
