Huzzah! We just sold the van for $1800. That's what we need for a rental.

Now, 1 boat, 1 riding lawn mower, a ton of lawn equpment, furniture & assorted other stuff to go.

Jon and I will be working on selling, selling, selling through Saturday. We'll also work on his resume tomorrow.

His last paycheck SHOULD be deposited Friday. Fingers crossed.

So, it's looking like we may be able to move Jon up there early next week. I'll have to stay behind and finish at least one massive eBay auction, keep packing, keep cleaning & repairing & fixing & selling, and tying up all loose ends.

So much to do, so much to do.

Thanks for all the prayers, well-wishes, and support. Things are going good so far - I hope they continue to do so.

If you need any help with the resume...I used to be a headhunter (in a past professional life) ...companies would pay me (a lot) to find them good people. I'm pretty damn good at assembling resumes. PM me if you need any help.

I've been doing resumes myself for almost 20 years, for myself, family, and as part of a freelance desktop publishing business. So I pretty much have things under control in that area.

Now, if I just had someone to help me PACK!!!!!!!!!!

Actually, GameofChance, we might need your expertise after all.

The resume might not be a problem. But there are aspects involved that I'll definitely need some help with - mostly concerning some cover letter details and some market value things.

I'll be posting an entirely new thread on that to solicit help from anyone with this sort of knowledge.
