I just bought the new cd by them catch without arms on tuesday one of my online friends suggested them and i have to say they are one best bands i have heard since well pretty much since i first heard placebo they are that damn amazing i picked up what i belive is their first cd today called el cielo its also very good but catch without arms is just mind blowing i highly suggest anybody that is into music along the lines of the smashing pumpkins or placebo check them out and if you do or have already heard of them please tell me if you agree also im sure i could find a way to burn copys of the cd for anybody who might want one this is one of those bands that i belive everybody should hear

Never heard of them what kind of musak do they play..............Someone we both know(MEGAN) turned me on to Placebo, first dose was PURE MORNING it kicks butt........but have never even heard of these guys before......

its along the same lines but not exactly the same it even has a bit of an older U2 feel to it which would usually turn me away because im not a fan of them i mainly compare them to placebo and the smashing pumpkins because those are the two bands that never fail to amaze me each time i hear them no matter how many times ive heard the same song deep lyrics great vocals and musical talent...and on a side note if you like pure morning youll love alot of placebos other songs how much more of them have you heard?

Oh I went out and bought the cd that pure morning is on "WTIHOUT YOU I'M NOTHING" , which is ok there is a couple songs i just love on there but others are going to have to grow on me if you know what i mean. Meg said there are others by them that are better cd's then that one but I just wanted a copy of pure morning myself.....Any other suggestions?

well of placebos 4 cds my personal faverite is black market music so you might want to pick that one up they also have a best of cds called once more with feeling it wouldnt hurt to get that first so you can get a feel for what each cd of theirs sounds like

I thought I was the only person in michigan who had ever heard of dredg, besides the one other person I introduced to them. I've met one other person up here. DUDE, they ROCK!!!

although... i don't like the new album as much as the older two. it's a little too poppy for me... but it has it's good points.

yeah, i'm picky. I can like synthpop, but not pop-rock.

have you seen them in concert? I saw them when they opened for the sneaker pimps at the place below saint andrews....the shelter(?). amazing show. I downloaded some of their music so that I would know if they were worth seeing, when I found out they were opening, and I was instantly enamored. very cool guys too.

the other cd is called leitmotif. i think it's their best, it's really melodic and orchestrated, with good rough edges. penguins in the desert is my favorite song from it.
