I've dated a few men who weren't exactly model material, but turned out to be wacko, and a few men who were really hot and well-adjusted and fun to be around (one in particular I miss terribly).

It's never worth putting up with crap, no matter what. People should be kind and respectful, or why even bother with a relationship? Once you've had a really good relationship I think you don't want to ever settle for less than that.

I need to stick with this resolution. I had felt strongly this way for many years, fell short, got shit for it. Now, I am back to putting up with no shit from any woman. Life's too short for someones bullshit.
