I like them. Very much.

You bought the album! Good for you! Finally, somebody listened to me...I know I probably sound like I'm trying to sell the album sometimes but it's really just that it's so good to me. I really think it's one of the greatest rock albums, all time.

I can hear a bit of Clash in them and a bit of James, Beatles, Sex Pistols, Pink Floyd (yuck!) and I think I even hear Dead Kennedys and Talking Heads, sometimes. Pete Doherty is really very original, though and such a complete waste of talent, as it were. Poor Pete, couldn't even get clean for Kate Moss' ass...

Such a great rock story, that band and at the same time very sad that we'll only get a single album from them (well, with Pete, anyway, which means, essentially, at all). Still can't factor why that album went without promotion here in America-

I totally hear the Beatles in them! And what the Hell is wrong with Pink Floyd??? I like them. They're different.

-Over-produced, and lacking a real mandate. that's what's wrong with Pink Floyd, to me. I don't buy into surrealism as a philosophy. I can somewhat dig Maxwell Ernst as a painter but only in his technique...Pink Floyd just played things in the blues scale, in contrast. I like blues, but not like that. I like "blues", blues. I will say that Pink Floyd's original singer, Sid Barrett made some very cool solo records and that I generally have a respect for him, on the other hand.

So what! I still like them. I don't get into the hows and why of my musical choices. I just listen to what I like!!

That's fine. I'm really the same & we don't all like the same things.
