Looks like God is moving back toward his old ways of overt intertion this week.

First four leaders die of electrocution when putting up a tent pole. Then there's a massive heat wave, making 300 people ill. Finally, just the other day a group was struck by lightning, killing a leader and making a kid brain dead.

one of our teamates is a scout leader.

damn usefull people when it comes to getting things. they can be as good (or as bad) as the freemasons

ah, i remember when i was a wee sprog in the scouts... on camp.. steel toecaps in the fights with other county scout groups, learning how to do the knife and hand thing lance does in aliens. learning how to strap someone to a chair and hoist it up to the roof upsidedown.

and then there was the games in the night at camp. escaping your own camp undetected, sabbying the other campsites and borrowing any other flag, then making it back to camp, add the captured flags underneath our own undetected and wait for morning after making a hidden bivouac nearby

we used to do this too. but it was a panty raid. it wasnt a flag that went up the flagpole, per se... :devil

but this was regular camp, not boy scout camp.
