why try to fit into a world that will always reject you.

that will look down apon your life with uncaring eyes.

why try?

to be with a persone only to feel the sting of the lies later along the line.

because you know it will happen it's only a matter of time.

when you open your heart only to feel i knife being pushed into it.

why try?

you try because you need something to fill the void.

that hole inside that never goes away.

you try and try only to feel your world grow smaller and smaller.

feeling your own self worth and sanity sink down with you.

but you keep going cuz it's all you know how to do is try.
