Dracula Cookbook

So I was poking around at a rare book fair the other day and I found this gem (I collect antique cookbooks among other things):

It's full of all kinds of twisted/rawther dark humored drawings and the recipes/dinner party menus are campy and cool. e.g.:

Dracula's Kitchen~ Count goes Casual with 6 Undead Friends

- Original Sin Baked Apples

- Duck's Blood soup

- Rare Roast Portneuf

- Fettuccini Diabolique

- Black Forest Cake

I've added it to my weird/twisted cuisine section of my collection - perhaps come fall I'll have to inflict some of the dishes on unsuspecting friends

It's easy to find online...just $3 or so (tho not the edition I have - is hardcover with original art...the new cover is pretty awful...lol)

I've read about that book online. There are so many Eastern European recipes that use blood as an ingredient. "Duck's Blood Soup" is a traditional Polish soup that my family eats. :confused

People in Britain eat blood sausage, or "black pudding", in Scotland, they deep fry black pudding and serve it with chips.
