Brenda Starrr Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 I just got a kickass Dickies micromini. Red plaid. Hot punk miniskirt. I just want to know why Dickies are so stiff? Do they really think that people like their Dickies that rough? How many times should I wash it before it becomes soft? Will it ever soften up? Any suggestions?
Brenda Starrr Posted August 3, 2005 Author Posted August 3, 2005 I always forget the fabric softener. I've never been able to remember it.
Brenda Starrr Posted August 3, 2005 Author Posted August 3, 2005 Oh, Amanda.... It's so stiff, it's abrasive. Brutally so.
Brenda Starrr Posted August 3, 2005 Author Posted August 3, 2005 Girls get away with murder. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> We do, don't we? It's so not fair.....

LuluVox Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 they got bonnie inh the end and lizzy borden <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Bonnie is a blood relative of mine, and it is my duty to...I don't know. Steal Paul's knife. Brenda: I'm sorry your skirt is stiff. Maybe you need to do something to turn it off.
Paper Hearts Posted August 3, 2005 Posted August 3, 2005 I think about yellow tractors when that happens.
Brenda Starrr Posted August 3, 2005 Author Posted August 3, 2005 Brenda: I'm sorry your skirt is stiff. Maybe you need to do something to turn it off. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You would think that undressing to try it on would have done the trick.
LuluVox Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 Uhm, yeah, because it would have gotten so turned on watching you get nekkid, and then...you know, and then...voila! Instant relief! That's what you meant, right?
float Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 We do, don't we? It's so not fair..... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> it's a little fair I mean you ladies have to put up with such shit...a little payback is in order
Homicidalheathen Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 First for everything....a girl complaining of a stiff dick...oh wait. What the hell is a dickie????
Daevion Posted August 4, 2005 Posted August 4, 2005 stop washing your skirt with viagra and maybe it will soften up
Brenda Starrr Posted August 4, 2005 Author Posted August 4, 2005 First for everything....a girl complaining of a stiff dick...oh wait. What the hell is a dickie???? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dickies are a brand of cloting. They usually look like work shirts, pants, etc. They're very stiff. When I think of a stiff Dickie, this isn't what I had in mind.
mallochai Posted August 7, 2005 Posted August 7, 2005 Well, yes, fabric softener is certainly in order, but in the meantime, since it'll probably take a while for them to soften up, you mentioned they were abrasive to your skin. Is that on the inside? I'm imagining so... Do they have a liner? You may need to install one, usually they're made of something slipper, and soft, so harsh materials, usually wool, don't rub your bottom or other soft sensitive areas. If it already has one... wash wash wash, without soap, fabric softener each time, and when you dry it, don't dry it all the way, that stresses out the fabric and over-dries its threadcores, or something like that. Another option would be to run them through a wringer when they're wet, over and over again. Some laundromats have them, at least one in Kalamazoo did... not sure about b-more. Good luck with that though. You might even try calling up laundering places, like dry cleaners, and asking for advice.
Brenda Starrr Posted August 7, 2005 Author Posted August 7, 2005 Dickie = stiff Dick = stiff. Does this explain? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol
Homicidalheathen Posted August 8, 2005 Posted August 8, 2005 So it's any style...just made of that wierd jean like material, because my manacurist wears dickie scrubs....they are blue. Dickies are a brand of cloting. They usually look like work shirts, pants, etc. They're very stiff. When I think of a stiff Dickie, this isn't what I had in mind. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
