FarrIL Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Never hurts to Do It Yourself. Grab a good pair of scissors, some clothes you want to chop and just snippy snippy snippy!! I've made myself some awesome pairs of legwarmers just by chopping up jeans. Fun fun!! But I want to learn how to sew, period. ;_;

I live in Adrian, quite a drive for clothes shopping.

I found a set of 2 barb wire nekalaces and 4 barb wire bracelets for a $1. I found a terrance and philip shirt at NIce Price on Vernor by Juntion for a $1. I moslty shop at Family Dollar. Now for boots.....I get them on sale in the mall or at Payless.

Allot of times i find someting i like Some time i have have to rearrange it a bit ( take of a silly bow or add spikes) but they have some wicked stuff, just have to look often which is easy for me cause i buy most of my cleaning products from there. Dollar store too have some nice stuff i got a cool vynial cuff w/pink polda dots, had a bow on it i ripped that off and stuck spikes in its place, now it says that bitch will fuck you up instead of aww look atthe cute little braclet. Yard SALES keep an eye open for yard sales, i have found some neat stuff, i even found one where the lady was selling off all her herbs, incents and oils, all of her "magic" stuff. I got some stuff that was un opened for about $2 and in the store the stuff would have cost me about $20 or more. Check the dumpsters behind you local thrift store, they do throw away cloths that are perfectly fine, i have found some neat stuff that way befor. as fer shoes, i am not one to get used pairs but see if your friends might want to trade cloths and shoes with you, i know allot people who do that. thats all i got for now lilith
kellygrrrrrl Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Gratiot between 696- and 16 mile there is like 3-4 thrift stores, plus the Chester Boot shop...there is also that head shop...(I forgot what it is called)...they have some cute t-shirts and other vintage crap, and several cool record shops.
Draco1958 Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 I can do some basic sewing, even have a sewing machine but can't do patterns, shame too cuz I have a coat pattern I want made. There's a place in Taylor and Mt Clemens called Gibraltar Trade Center. Sometimes you can find deals there.
