torn asunder Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 maybe social systems isn't quite right, then - but would you say there's a difference (implied or not) between a social system and a heirarchy?

That is good for the next question... Social systems and "natural hierarchies" is there an actual difference
Msterbeau Posted July 17, 2006 Posted July 17, 2006 Q. If I smack a bug and it falls out of the air... crashes and burns.... but then gets back up and flys away... crash landing behind an unmovable piece of furniture, thus taking away my ability to verify it's death.... Is it dead?

Is it dead? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is dead. Until it comes out of hiding it is dead. Upon seeing it again...it is the bug...reincarnated into a different bug..maybe even the same species...
kellygrrrrrl Posted July 18, 2006 Posted July 18, 2006 New Question... Is Intelligence/Self Awareness a natural part of any species evolution, or are we unique in our abilities of analysis of the universe around us? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No to any species. Yes...to humans. For example: Has an animal of of any species other than the HomoSapien EVER written a book or drawn a cave painting EVER EVER? Have any animals EVER expressed any concern that thier Butt hole is showing?

phee Posted May 23, 2008 Author Posted May 23, 2008 Deep Question: If it is in the nature of the universe as we have seen for life to start as a simple form and become more and more complex over the countless ocean of time, as we have seen, and if God is all powerful and omnipotent, then what made God in the first place? As such a god would be the most complex form of life (or thing in general) in the universe.... existance before the universe was made would make no sense.

I believe that "god" is a collected Id, and that Id was then distributed amongst us....hence why/ how "god" is everywhere at the same time and all knowing. If you think about it, that would be the most complex life-form ever, a collective "super-Id".

As such a god would be the most complex form of life (or thing in general) in the universe.... existance before the universe was made would make no sense. I BELIEVE that GOD is the Universe. Was born/created in a way that even I can not understand YET!(many holy men & books state GOD is self created) GOD evolves as the Universe unfolds...

THAT is the MIND of GOD.
Guest GodfallenPromos Posted May 23, 2008 Posted May 23, 2008 ID EGO SUPER-EGO ALL part of the subconcious mind... If you collect ALL our subconsciousnesses... THAT is the MIND of GOD. except I don't count the ego, super-ego amongst that...because they are organized parts of the mind....the "Id" is the chaotic part...the part that is more about emotion, expression, etc. I do not see the concept of "god", not its figure, as something that is organized and logical...man gave it that....I do, however, believe that it is emotional, expressive, and the like, and therefore a collection of the "ID" alone.

Cause I have a few theories on this..
