It looks like I'll be on the road either Friday the 12th or Saturday the 13th.

Jon put a down payment on an apartment in Wyandotte and we should know if we're approved Monday. But it appears it's a done deal, just some formalities to go through. Cool place - it's a loft apartment 3 blocks from the river, the front & top floor of an 1800's house. Check it out:

Meanwhile, I have to kick it into high gear to get everything here taken care of. (So why is she online posting this? - Lunchbreak. )

I found a couple local animal rescues who are going to "donate" cat carriers to me since I couldn't get any from yard sales or Freecycle, thank goodness.

And anything I can't take with me I'll be Freecycling. Going to be some very, very lucky Freecyclers out there in the next few days.

I could take 2 weeks and be able to have more time to get stuff organized, but if I do that, we'll run into all sorts of financial complications with rent here coming due, electric bill, etc. So best to get out now.

Not that I want to be here any longer than I have to!!! I wish it'd be Friday, but I have a feeling it'll be Saturday.
