Guest MsMaldoror Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 Um, yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking when I read this. There's a difference between having talent and having quirks... :grin Side show freak show, is more like it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>

There's a difference between having talent and having quirks... :grin <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Right. Like how I can get completly oblitterated with alcohol and transform into a total jerk-that's not really a "talent". ...Now, Daevion's amazing Cheeze-it devouring ability, on the other hand...that's something people would pay to see.
Guest MsMaldoror Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 There are some talented musicians and artists on this board, but I personally don't consider eating Cheez Its (sorry, Daevion), reciting bad poetry, and telling jokes a "talent." Right. CheezIts Posted August 11, 2005 Posted August 11, 2005 You are wrong, MsM. Daevion is VERY talented when it comes to eating me. No one eats me like he does. SomeDanGuy Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 It's times like this that I wish I had choreographed a Tae Kwon Do sequence to music years ago so I didn't have to do any prep work :-/ Let's just turn this into a speed-eating contest. Now THAT I could do!

Medea Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 Dude.. I could maybe get the motivation to actually write that stand up routine I've been thinking about, or I could just go on stage and sing. Either way. And wheresmypiggy could do some sexy burlesque!

Let me write a joke. well find fifty people 25 for you twenty five for me. We tell the same joke and I'll bet that I get more laughs. Timing and delivery are a talent. Actuly I already have the joke. the eternal Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 Yeah I always meant to write some stand up material then I realized I was too lazy... and not funny. It kind of took away the motivation there. But I can do a mean death metal cover of a Frank Sinatra tune and I have some interesting poetry that I may not be too embarassed to read Hell I could always read someone elses, if it was cool
bean Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 I could read my poetry (unless it sucks and no one has bothered to tell me), but I have social anxiety, so I would have to get a little tipsy before hand, otherwise I would have a panic attack, then pass out, which could be funny all on its own.

I think we'd be a little too concerned for your well-being for amusement, at least I would, but when Iwas in college, we had pinch readers, ie friends that would read poems the writers felt uncomfortable doing at readings
Guest Game of Chance Posted August 12, 2005 Posted August 12, 2005 I can violate audience members for a nickle <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lmao
