Ginevra Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 Too bad 20 is their smallest size. (Yes, I realise that's UK size.) *watches HW blushing over there* heh
Hermine Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 Too bad 20 is their smallest size. (Yes, I realise that's UK size.) Corsets are sized by waist measurement, usually in inches. 20" is actually pretty small. You want to order a corset about 2-4" below your waist measurement. If it were dress sizes, well, a UK 20 would probably be about a US 18, so, yeah, still big. For corsets, if you're longwaisted, you want an overbust. If you have broad hips, you want something about mid-hip or over the hips. Otherwise, it'll give you shelf hips--that unattractvie phenomenon where a your hips have a "shelf" of flesh sticking out where the corset ends. If you're skinny, that difference is nice b/c it makes you look like you have hips. If you're hippy, it looks sloppy and icky and unflattering and you have a shelf. If you're hippy, you either want a corset that flares a lot at the hips or one that covers them. Wow, did I just reveal myself as a deviant freak or what? Good thing I have no shame.
Brenda Starrr Posted December 21, 2004 Posted December 21, 2004 I want that corset. It really IS hot!
Marblez Posted December 22, 2004 Author Posted December 22, 2004 Here is their size chart. http://www.honour.co.uk/catalog/sizing.php...99d23e1ee8ff0e9 Yes, ginny, a 20 corset is a 20" waist. Other items are sized by dress size.
