I just got hit up with the State of Tennessee's "Professional Privilege Tax". $500 plus interest, due 1/1/04. And another for this year too. So I'm looking at a grand and some change. Think happy thoughts about aces for me.

Hooly crap! Just curious -- summer tax? There's another bill due in winter?

Is that because you are inside metro Detroit?

Yeah there is a tax bill in winter as well, tho much less than usual due to the state loading the majority of tax burden in July. I live in Ann Arbor and the property value/tax is insane here - my property taxes have doubled in 5 years.
