Today I had a 10:40 am Dr's appointment to get my cast taken off.. Well I work a midnight shift and fell asleep and missed the 10:40 appointment.. Went in to the doctor's office at about 2:30 and apologized for missing my apointment. Well they couldn't take my cast off cuz it was too late and set me up for an appointment on Monday.. But I was like "Well, since I've been looking forward to getting this cast off today would it be acceptable to cut it off myself and just follow up on Monday for X-rays?" and they said sure, if I can manage to get it off, and chuckled..

That's why Dremel tools come in handy I just cut it off and GOD is it nice to be able to use my right hand again.. I don't have to hold the mouse in a fucked up way anymore, I can write and draw again.. But most importantly I can TAKE A SHOWER WITHOUT A PLASTIC BAG ON MY GOD DAMN ARM!!! YESSSS....

And the hand seems to have healed up just fine.. I don't have any issues when I try to move it in different ways, I'm still going to go in on Monday so they can X-ray it and make sure it's healed properly.

I did set my alarm, but I was so tired after work this morning, and had a very fucked up headache where I was starting to lose my peripheral vision and getting black spots in my vision (it's gone now, happens every once in a great while), so when I passed out I passed out hard.

do you have the gross arm shrivel? I hated that when I had a cast.

no it was nothing a long hot shower didn't take care of..
