Need a place to stay with a roommate

Hello Everyone,

My name is Sylvia, i'm 21, Lebanese and i'll be coming to detroit on the 28th of August with my mum. Since i can't rent a place on my own because i'm a foreigner, i need to find someone with their name on the lease to share this place with as a roommate. Detroit and the area around it would be a good place.

P.S: I'm a friend of David (Scary Guy), he said it might be helpful to find someone if i mention his name so hopefully it is.
