ManicQueen Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I'm sitting here watching "Inside 9/11" What horrible memories it brings back. I hate watching this shit but I can't help it.. it's history, it's something I watched, live on tv when it happened. They just got done showing the people that were jumping out of the building and the people on the ground said that every few minutes they would here a smack sound, someone hitting the ground. I feel sick now =( Sorry to bring this back up to those that are sensitive to it.
Brenda Starrr Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 It still flashes through my mind. Every time I know that something about 9/11 is coming on TV, I make a point to watch it. Yes, it still upsets me. But I'll never forget. I don't want to.
DarkVampire Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 One of two great tragedies that is burned into my memory, this and the Challenger explosion. Watching that shit live on tv, is just something. I've seen stuff on 9/11 on the History Channel. I always end up watching it though and it brings back memories of when it happened. I take 9/11 very personally. Of all times for my parents and my sister to visit California they had chose the week before this happened. They were suppose to return back to Michigan 9/13. Good thing it didn't happen a few days later and on the West Coast.
The_Dark Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 I took years for me to watch a Shuttle launch again... I'd never seen one go up.. always missed i t... and then.. the first time I managed to be near a TV at launch time... BOOM... Years later... I was watching the morning news... and a plane had hit the WTC... as I watched the second one hit.. I didn't move off my couch for 3 days.... Some things burn themselves into the minds eye and your never the same person again.
Scary Guy Posted August 23, 2005 Posted August 23, 2005 Remember in Robocop one when the guy jumps out of the building, then they cut to street level where two men are talking and you see a body hit the ground? Awesome scene. Sorry I really am an insensitive prick. I woke up, saw it on TV, and went back to bed almost immediately because I knew I would be hearing about it for the next few months non stop.
