JaneDead Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 actually, i would not want to be famous/known at all. i would not want that sort of lifestyle that seems to come along with it. if i were to be known for something it would have to be like 100 years after i was dead or something. so i would never know about it. what is something that your closest family/friends don't know about you but that you would tell us here?
phee Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 How much time I spend on this website.... Do you have a place where you feel "safe"?
JaneDead Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 actually the only "place" i feel safe, is when i just keep my thoughts/feelings to myself instead of letting too many/the wrong people know what is going on in my mind. so i only feel completely safe with myself if that makes sense. are you open with your feelings? do people know how you feel right when something happens or do you bottle it up and just get angry and stay angry for all the wrong reasons?
phee Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 It really depends on the situation... I think that I am very honest and forthcoming person, but lately when I have made myself vulerable... I have really gotten burned for it.... What do you think?
JaneDead Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 i feel the same way. although my most recent attempt at that actually got me somewhere and i am very very grateful/happy. but in the past it was getting me absolutely nowhere and just made me want to not even bother anymore. sometimes it is hard to get through unreachable people. what do you think on that one?
Brenda Starrr Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 I don't know. Why are men so dense in the head?
JaneDead Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 i really don't think women and men will ever quite understand how the other one thinks/feels/operates. i think it all boils down to poor communication and just not understanding one another. do you know more people happy in love, or pulled in all sorts of different directions?
Brenda Starrr Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 The only truly happy couple I know are Wayne and myself. Why can't you move to Baltimore?
JaneDead Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 i've actually never even thought about going to balitmore. i wonder if i would like it there? seems any place is better than michigan... and yet we all just seem to stay here forever and ever and ever.... can't think of a question... hmmm....
JaneDead Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 what is your favoirte way to communicate with people? on the phone, online, face to face, big group, one on one, etc? and why? what makes you feel more comfortable with it?
JaneDead Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 [ i dont know why i couldn't think of one - my mind just seriously went totally blank and i couldn't even think of anything there for a minute]
Brenda Starrr Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 (edited) I prefer face to face. But I have to talk to you here until I get there. I like to see people's facial expressions. You? Edited March 24, 2005 by BrendaStarrr69
JaneDead Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 i prefer im to phone. letters, handwritten, when it has to be something i read. i like one on one (face to face) for serious conversations, but have a lot of fun with a few close friends. and i prefer a few close friends to a big party of people i don't know. and i too like to see people expressions and mannersims and to hear a voice and look someone in the eye. what is it you appreciate most in other people? what do you get from them daily that you feel you need? what do you feel you can live without when dealing with other people?
phee Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Being themselves while being with me.... Kinda simplified I guess does that make sense?
Brenda Starrr Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 I appreciate sincerity and kindness. I love fun people. The human contact alone gets me through. I can definitely do without rudeness and bigotry. What's the one thing about people that just pisses you off to no end?
JaneDead Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 makes perfect sense. and not really simplified, it is just to the point. i think enjoying a person being themselves around you is probably the best thing you could get from a person too. but what could you live without?
phee Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 The inabality of people to understad one another.... Are we getting to deep?
JaneDead Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 ok in answer to brenda now- cuz i was slow again what pisses me off- people not listening. they only think about what they have to say and focus on that instead of actually having a CONVERSATION with you. i hate that. it is rude beyond belief to me. why do you think people can't communicate well?
Brenda Starrr Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 The inability to form the right words, for one. Do you ever know what you want to say, but can't come up with the words?
JaneDead Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 actually i hardly have that problem. i always know what i want to say and how to say it. my only problem is that people seem to not know what to say back. or just choose to not say something back. what is the rudest thing someone has done to you when talking to them about something important?
JaneDead Posted March 24, 2005 Author Posted March 24, 2005 yes. or when you are talking and people just start to talk about something else as if you were never talking to begin with?? i hate that. i NEVER ever do that to someone. ever. i always listen. one time i had a person spit on me. that is why i was asking about the rudest thing ever. i thought that was pretty down right degrading. do you have any regrets on how you have treated/mistreated people in the past or even present?
phee Posted March 24, 2005 Posted March 24, 2005 Oh yes... What is the worst thing you have ever done?
