My parents calling the police because I wandered off... :/

I did that once. My parents put a lock on the gate afterwards.

How far did you go?

The other side of the block to talk to the nice old man. I was four.

Can you believe it was even safe enough to do that back then?

[SuZQZ]

I know. It was so different then. My best friend at the time and I made it about half a mile (ages 5 and 4). The guard at the business gate saw us and walked us all the way home. My mom and his mom didn't even realize we were gone. Hence, the lock on the gate. (like we wouldn't climb it).

Did you climb trees when you were a kid?

I was the climbing master.

Any tree I could grab a hold of, and fences too.
