Amerist Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 One time when I was sleeping next to my kaywngstiad, I had dreamed that I was a seven-tailed kitsune. My tails were made of brilliant flames; each one was a different colour. The memory was so ethereal and beautiful. I brought light and life to a magical forest in Kyoto District of Japan, and for some weird reason there were lots of Celtic knotwork on the Kami Shrines. Raccoon dogs, fox kami, sennyo, and various spirits would all gather in the middle of Kyoto where we would watch pantomime phantoms play out silent screenplays with masks. A single violin told strange stories that seemed to be Irish folktales with Nipponese influence. When the plays ended we would all clap. I would take the spirits onto my back, unfurl my tails… …and awaken to the soft vision of sunlight playing on the sheets of my bed.
