i'm really not sure but as soon as i read this i thought "the cure" so that is probably right.

there was a time when i listened to it every single night (disintegration) when i was going to sleep. i had to buy one particular tape (Standing on a Beach/staring at the sea) 3 times. it kept breaking. now i have it all on cd so i don't seem to have any problems.
