LadyWindstone Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 .....that i will probably not get a date anytime soon. I'm taking myself off the market until i get my life straight anyhow. I'm pretty much giving up that i will have some sort of relationship with anyone. Dating these days is pretty hard and finding someone with the same interests (at partly) in my area is impossible. Especially since most of the guys that I would date are taken. Go figure.
Fierce Critter Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 I hope then that you can enjoy "girls night out" at CC on Saturdays. "Cause I love hanging with you. PM a'comin'. :grin
LadyWindstone Posted September 28, 2005 Author Posted September 28, 2005 I always love girls nite out at CC.
cptdeath Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 yeah i feel you on that. i often consider that i really don't have the kind of life that i want to share cause it's not good enough. i need to have a life ,before i have a life to share
Draco1958 Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Warren is a bit a ways from me but not too far and we do have 1 interest in common. We both dress up for the Ren Fair. I like your costume from the fair.
LadyWindstone Posted September 28, 2005 Author Posted September 28, 2005 thanks Draco. I had to borrow that outfit lol.
bean Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 Men, shmen; date, shmate. We don' need no stinkin' relationships. Meh...there is still fun to be had!

ZhukovCodeslinger Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 maybe you could try alternate venues: Bookstores, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Coffee Shops, non gothy places.... you never know... you could find your perfect someone at a school or even a motorcycle swap meet....
Homicidalheathen Posted September 28, 2005 Posted September 28, 2005 I personally wouldnt look for a husband at CC heh Your young though taking time off could be a good thing......I know I still do it.....regroup, refocus. I love a good girls night out......its all I have been doing lately and it is empowering.
LadyWindstone Posted September 29, 2005 Author Posted September 29, 2005 I"m not looking for a husband at CC. CC is for fun and fun only. A place to hang with my friends cause that seems to be the only place that i can see some of them.
Homicidalheathen Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Good to hear it! Smart girl! I just think its funny.......I have talked to a couple people who go to CC to find the love of their life. Am I the only one who finds this amusing? Personally I like a girls night out at Danny's in Windsor......but I used to dance. I like to do the humiliating and degrading for a change. DOWN ON YOUR KNEES BOOYEEEEE! Now let me stick this dollar where the sun won't shine. LOL I"m not looking for a husband at CC. CC is for fun and fun only. DarkChylde Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 I've tried to avoid dating, well umm......Something just happened *long story*. But yeah I know where your coming from on that though, I've always had my dry spells and believe me, I had ALOT!! It just takes time, it'll hit you over the head when you dont expect it. Thats how life goes and it sux so might as well prepare a sword and a shield because life is prolly going to get much worse for us all.

DisturbedMania Posted September 29, 2005 Posted September 29, 2005 Relationships fall into place when you least expect them. I find that it's a good idea that you don't search. However, make sure you have a strong list of standards that the other person needs to have for relationships. I've found when I break the list, I get burned.
the eternal Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 Men, shmen; date, shmate. We don' need no stinkin' relationships. Meh...there is still fun to be had! Im too much of a romantic to feel that way. Ive tried to shield my heart and failed. There's nothing like feeling in love. :whistling :whistling Relationships fall into place when you least expect them. I find that it's a good idea that you don't search. bean Posted September 30, 2005 Posted September 30, 2005 I met my husband at cc. Need I say more? Scream, run for your lives! EEEK!!
LadyWindstone Posted October 1, 2005 Author Posted October 1, 2005 There is no way that one would meet Mr. Right at CC. Mr. Right Now but not Mr. Right.
wood Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 i live in detroit so i can offer you my friendship, but as far as relationship goes that takes time. but hang in there it should get better.
Onyx Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 There is no way that one would meet Mr. Right at CC. Mr. Right Now but not Mr. Right. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What does that say about us though? Every single board member who goes to CC are just losers, eh? hehe. I know what you mean though. I've had a few bad experiences with cc-goers myself. (but a couple of pretty good ones also. hmmm)
An_Incomplete_heart Posted October 1, 2005 Posted October 1, 2005 I wish I could find a good husband I need a man for some sweet hot lovin and to open up the pickel jars
gothicmom Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 I didn't find my husband at CC, but I did meet him at a night club! So don't discredit everyone. Right Bean water?

You could meet your future spouse anywhere- yes, even CC. However I don't think it's a good idea to go looking specifically for a spouse- that is just a recipe for disaster.
LadyWindstone Posted October 8, 2005 Author Posted October 8, 2005 Well I make sure that I leave the house on a regular basis. The next step is up to them. It's up to me afterwards to figure out whether or not I want them. So far not really. lol.
